The ICNF - Instituto de Conservação da Natureza e das Florestas is the portuguese national authority for nature conservation. Among other atributions, it is responsable for the continental Protected Areas of National relevence and for the management of the Natura 2000 sites. Collects biodiversity information, through monitoring and promoting species atlas and census.
