The Swire Institute of Marine Science (SWIMS)

Description

The Swire Institute of Marine Science (SWIMS) is a research facility of The University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Science, situated on the Cape d'Aguilar peninsula, on the shores of Hong Kong's only Marine Reserve. SWIMS provides an interdisciplinary research environment that initiates novel research on marine Ecology & Biodiversity, and the impacts of climate change and human activities. The institute fosters international collaboration on marine science research and trains scientists to sustainably manage and conserve marine resources.
