Description

The University of Montana herbarium (MONTU) features archival collections of over 150,000 vascular plants, bryophytes, lichenized fungi and diatoms from the Intermountain West and Great Plains. Of particular interest are MONTU’s collections from alpine regions of western Montana, and montane habitats throughout the state.
