The State Museum of Natural History is one of the oldest and reachest natural history museums in Ukraine, holding nearly 400K specimens in general. The Museum is one of the leading public and scientific institutions in Lviv, focussing both on in-depth investigations of biology, ecology, geography, and paleontology and organization of exhibitions, educational events, and sci-popular interactions with the community. In frames of GBIF-related activities, the main focus of the Museum is the publishing of datasets regarding hosting collections and biodiversity data extracted from such collections and relevant literature.
