The Ministry of Natural Resource and Commerce is solely responsible to protect the agricultural activities and

general well-being of the people of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The Ministry have regulations

promogulated as a method of preventing the introduction and further spread of injurious insects, pests,

and diseases within the Republic of the Marshall Islands., to provide procedures and conditions

to ensure the safe movement of plants and animals and plant and animal products into and out of the

Republic of the Marshall Islands and to fulfill international obligations movement of pests in international trade and traffic.
