The Claude E. Phillips Herbarium (DOV) at Delaware State University houses collections of vascular plants, bryophytes, lichens, fungi, algae, plant fossils and other botanically related specimens (i.e., botanical beads; dried botanicals; fibers; fruits, cones and seeds; potpourri ingredients; and bark and wood). The collections of vascular and non-vascular plants are worldwide in geographic scope, with significant holdings from North America and Europe, and are extensively historical in temporal coverage.
