The Institute for Biodiversity, Ecology, Evolution, and Macrosystems (IBEEM) at Michigan State University (MSU) brings together researchers studying biodiversity at multiple scales. IBEEM's mission is to conduct transformative research that integrates ecology and evolution across scales to advance understanding and prediction of how biodiversity and ecosystem functions and services respond to global changes. IBEEM's central question is: What makes the biodiversity of a species, population, community, or ecosystem resilient to global changes?
