SEAD is the Strategic Environmental Archaeology Database, a research data infrastructure for palaeoecology and environmental archaeology. It contains records of Quaternary finds of plants and animals, with a large database of fossil insects derived from the BugsCEP database. The system provides palaeobiodiversity data through cooperation with SBDI, the Swedish Biodiversity Data Infrastructure. The infrastructure is hosted by The Environmental Archaeology Lab and Humlab at Umeå University, Sweden.
