Prefectura del Guayas

Description

The Prefectura del Guayas is the political and administrative institution that governs the province of Guayas, in Ecuador. It is composed of the provincial prefect, a vice-prefect, and the Provincial Council made up of delegates from the twenty-five cities of Guayas. One of the responsibilities of the Prefectura del Guayas is environmental management in the region. Based on this attribution, the collection of biotic information is constantly carried out in the province.
