Description

The LAB/UPC is specialized in processing acoustic data for environmental monitoring in water and in air. The focus is on applications related to biodiversity and anthropogenic activities. The LAB is leading the PROVIDENCE PLUS finalist team in the XPRIZE Rainforest competition, together with partners from the Instituto de Desenvolvimento Sustentável Mamirauá (IDSM, Brazil) and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF, Spain).
