Bridgewater State University’s Natural History Collection (BSUNH) is in Southeastern Massachusetts and is
housed within the Department of Biological Sciences. This small, but valuable collection of animal and
botanical specimens holds significant information about the ecological history of the New England region. The mission of BSUNH is three-fold: cultivate meaningful scientific research that stimulates critical thinking, help create an accessible environment for teaching biology to students of all backgrounds and foster an appreciation for biodiversity through public outreach.
