The United Directorate of Protected Natural Areas of Yugra region was founded in 2002. The main goal of the organization is the administration of 13 regional Protected Natural Areas in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra: the reserves Berezovsky, Vogulka, Sorumskiy, Untorskiy, Surgutskiy; and the nature memorials Lugovskiе Mamonty, Leshak-Shchelya, Ilyichevsky Bor, Smolny Island, Ovechiy Island, Cheuskinsky Bor, Bolshoye Kayukovo, Dalniy Nyris.Учреждение ОДООПТ ХМАО-Югры образовано в 2002 году. Основной деятельностью является осуществление функций администрирования государственных заказников регионального значения в Ханты-Мансийском автономном округе – Югре: «Березовский», «Вогулка», «Сорумский», «Унторский», «Сургутский» и памятников природы регионального значения: «Луговские мамонты», «Лешак – Щелья», «Ильичевский бор», остров «Смольный», остров «Овечий», «Чеускинский бор», «Лесоболотная зона «Большое Каюково», «Дальний Нырис». Reserves and nature memorials are located on the lands of the state forest funds of Berezovsky, Beloyarsky, Kondinsky, Oktyabrsky, Surgutsky, Nefteyugansky, Nizhnevartovsky, Samarovsky forestries of Yugra region. The total area of the Protected Natural Areas is about 370 thousand hectares.Заказники и памятники природы размещены на землях лесного государственного фонда Березовского, Белоярского, Кондинского, Октябрьского, Сургутского, Нефтеюганского, Нижневартовского, Самаровского территориальных лесничеств и землях запаса. Общая площадь особо охраняемых природных территорий, переданных в управление Учреждения, составляет 389,117 тыс.га.The Institution provides the following functions:- control over the populations of endangered, rare and traded animals and plants;- maintaining the protection regime in the Protected Natural Areas;- organization of scientific research and environmental monitoring;- programs for the sustainable development of reserves and natural memorials;- educational activities, ecological education and tourism.Учреждение осуществляет основные функции:- контроль за состоянием и возобновляемостью исчезающих, редких и промысловых запасов животных и растений;- контроль за деятельностью и соблюдением режима ООПТ заказников и памятников природы;- организация научно-исследовательских работ и экологического мониторинга;- разработка программ устойчивого развития заказников и памятников природы, а также контроль за их выполнением;- осуществление природоохранной и учебно-производственной деятельности, внедрение эффективных методов охраны окружающей природной среды;- осуществление материально-технического обеспечения;- осуществление консультационных и информационных услуг по проблемам, связанным с работой и сохранением режима заказников и памятников природы;- осуществление издательской, рекламной и информационной деятельности;- проведение эколого-просветительской деятельности и туризма.
