Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is involved in biodiversity exploration mostly in the Eastern part of Ukraine, however some investigations are carried out in other parts of Ukraine, as well as some countries of Europe and Asia. As well our staff takes part in nature conservation and environmental education activity. The University has the herbarium collection, zoological and geological museums.
