Public descriptionLa Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca (UNC) cuenta con carreras profesionales responsables de estudios de biodiversidad. Dada la ubicación geográfica de la región Cajamarca, con proximidad a la línea ecuatorial, existe mucha variedad en flora y fauna que enriquecen y embellecen nuestros paisajes. Las principales líneas de investigación afines a GBIF que maneja la UNC son: conservación de la biodiversidad, ecología y dinámica de poblaciones, biodiversidad y cambio climático, servicios ecosistémicos y bienestar humano, agroecosistemas, genómica y biodiversidad molecular, big data y monitoreo ambiental.
