Basecamp Research is a company founded on the belief that nature has the answers to many of the challenges faced by industry. We are sequencing novel microbial genomes from biodiverse locations around the world, and are building a fully contextualised knowledge graph to identify and characterise proteins, enzymes, and other biological features that could hold commercial applications. All of our biodiversity work is grounded in fair and equitable access and benefit sharing agreements, allowing us to incentivize conservation by driving the creation of biodiversity as an asset class.
