Vinoba Bhave University is a new state owned public university in India. Many PhD scholars of Zoology department of Vinoba Bhave University are working on biodiversity of nearby forests. In fact, the university is situated at the heart of Chotanagpur Plateau which holds the world's ancient most forests with rich biodiversity. Scholars like me who have worked or are working on biodiversity of this area would like to publish our data on GBIF and use the available biodiversity data for our research. I would also encourage my fellow colleagues to use GBIF for their research.
