Roztochya is a nature reserve located on the main European watershed close to Male Polissia, Prykarpattia, and Podillia. Here are located primeval beech forests resembling the primary Carpathian forests, lakes, ponds, and swamps peculiar to Polissia, oak forests and meadows typical for Podillia, and unique European pine-oak forests that don’t grow anywhere else in Ukraine.

The main task of the Roztochya Nature Reserve within the GBIF initiative, is publishing the biodiversity data regarding the locally distributed taxa.
