Aqua Kompetanse AS was founded in June 2000, and today we have branches in Tromsø, Sandnessjøen, Rørvik, Flatanger, Namsos, Stavanger and Bergen.

We employ authorized fish health personnel, marine biologists and oceanographers and other professionals within aquaculture, ecology and physiology. We carry out all types of investigations in both sea and freshwater: Environmental investigations, impact assessments, health checks in food and hatchery facilities, boat inspections, current measurements and assessments of new farming locations.

We also carry out fjord monitoring, mapping of bottom topography and investigations of treatment plants.

Aqua Kompetanse AS ble stiftet i juni 2000, og i dag har vi avdelinger i Tromsø, Sandnessjøen, Rørvik, Flatanger, Namsos, Stavanger og Bergen.

Hos oss jobber autorisert fiskehelsepersonell, marinbiologer og oseanografer og andre fagfolk innenfor havbruk, økologi og fysiologi. Vi utfører alle typer undersøkelser i både sjø og ferskvann: Miljøundersøkelser, konsekvensutredninger, helsekontroller i mat- og settefiskanlegg, brønnbåtinspeksjoner, strømmålinger og vurderinger av nye oppdrettslokaliteter.

I tillegg utfører vi fjordovervåkning, kartlegging av bunntopografi og utredninger av renseanlegg.
